Negative: We had significant issues with the keys during our stay, which impacted our overall experience. Our group (family) didn’t always leave or return at the same time, so coordinating the use of a single set of keys was very inconvenient. The entrance to the building could only be locked and unlocked with a physical key, which meant we had to be extremely careful with who had them at all times. Additionally, the apartment door had two locks — one that could be locked from the inside without a key but couldn’t be unlocked from the outside with the key, and another that could only be locked and unlocked using the key. It was just very inconvenient. There were also situations where we had to leave the building door unlocked temporarily to allow someone to leave later, but it ended up being relocked by other guests (possibly from another unit in the same building), which created more confusion. This caused a serious issue at one point when one of our guests was unintentionally locked inside the building and couldn’t get out. To make matters worse, near the end of our stay, we discovered the keys were missing from the lockbox, which caused some panic. It turns out the cleaner had arrived earlier than expected and had taken the keys before our check-out time. The property itself was lovely and well-maintained, but the key situation was a major issue throughout the trip. I would strongly recommend installing a keyless entry system (e.g., pinpad or smart lock) to make things much smoother and more secure for future guests.

Positive: The house is really nice and big, situated in a good location. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the house has a big terrace. The host was responsive and even though at the beginning there was no air conditioning in the house, we coordinated to get a portable A/C unit.
Negative: The first days it was really hot as there was no A/C.

Positive: This booking includes 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and 2 bathrooms - one with a shower and one without. It comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The apartment is located on the first floor of a two-unit building. The space is clean, bright, and comfortable. An interior staircase leads to two of the bedrooms and the smaller, second bathroom. Situated in Nanterre, the apartment is about a 25-minute walk from the La Défense Metro station, offering easy access to Paris. Across the street, there’s a Thai restaurant I highly recommend. A bakery is located at the end of the street, and a Franprix supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower is only a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The host is exceptionally responsive - one of the most attentive I’ve encountered. She replies almost instantly via phone or Booking chat, and is both kind and helpful. We had a minor issue entering the building, which she resolved immediately.
Negative: We had no complaints at all. Just a note for taller guests: the ceilings in the two upstairs bedrooms are a bit low, which might make getting in and out of bed slightly awkward. That said, it wasn’t an issue for us. A small suggestion for the host: adding a coat rack near the entrance would be a great addition. During our stay, the weather was rainy and we had some heavier jackets. Having a place to hang them by the door would’ve been more convenient than using the chairs in the living room.
